I am having trouble installing the media console BC Broncos offers. They say to just wire the power to amp to hot wire of wiper motor. However I am only getting power when the wipers are on. They say there should be power once key is in on position. Any one know what I'm doing wrong here?

There's power + "in" TO the switch (key on).... & power + "out" of the switch TO the wiper motor.

You're just on the wrong side.

However..., I don't see how this can be done..., as the "switch" is in the dash. I would think a wire needs to run to the dash switch to pick up "key-on" power...??

I believe I found what I was doing wrong. The power to amp must run from the dome light power and keep the inside lights in on position at all times. This is why new dome light has an on/off toggle. Got music playing but now the dome light is still not working. Don't see how it could be wiring because its going to same power as amp. Maybe unfortunate luck of bad bulb?
