Hi, i have a 87 bronco 2 and it has an automatic 4x4 botton light that keeps comming on i can feel it switch into 4x4 while im drving on the road without pressing the button is there anyone that can help me out or tell me how to fix the problem please

do what the numbnut did to my old bronco: pop the circuit breaker and rewire /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

or the transfer case motor is engaging at a whim.

sounds like there is a short that is intermittently sending power to the motor. see if you can track it down and go from there
