I recently changed out my auto hubs to a set of Warn Premium manuals. The way I understand it, now when I want to engage 4WD I first go out and turn my front hubs, get back in the truck and push the 4 x4 button. Is this correct?

thanks

Either sequence will do. If you are expecting to be driving in bad conditions then you can engage the hubs and then hit the 4x4 when you need it. That will save you getting out when in the muck. However, that will cost you in mileage since the axles and drive shaft will be adding extra drag. Don't do that and drive on dry roads, it will cause too much wear and tear on the system. I drive with mine engaged when the roads are snow covered and I only occasionally need to pop it in and out of 4x4 and driving in 4x4 all the time doesn't fit the situation. Other wise, for normal conditions where you don't really need 4x4 wait till you need it and do it the way you said.

Good luck,

:)>-
