AOD Swap poroblem w/main shaft

Have a late model AOD (1990 mdl) and installing Advanced Adaptors conversion kit and the governor won't fit the main shaft supplied. Is it the wrong kit or is there something we are missing. Any help is appreciated, I just started this project and am lookinig forward to completion date. Thanks

i know when they sell rebuild kits they sell them, 80-83,83-90,90-93 you may have a 90 trans but it can be early or late build
