What's up everyone, I am really new to the early bronco scene and just purchased my frist bronco. I love it! Anyways, I am also just learning the ins and outs of working on cars and would like to have a good mechanic that I can use when there is stuff that needs to get done, and I don't have the time to do it.

Anyone know of a good early bronco mechanic in the San Diego area?

Thanks in advance.

There's a early bronco club in Poway, which is in the northern part of San Diego. If you could track down one of the members I bet they could point you to a good bronco specific shop. As far as a good mechanic I know of, there's a shop in La Mesa called Bob Bowen's (might not be spelled correctly). They do really good work and usually give you a fair price (and if they mess up they'll usually fix it for free). They're located right off of the interstate, so they're easy to get to also. (you take the Lake Murray bldv. exit heading east on the 8 I believe). Hope this will be of some help. I was stationed there in the Navy and dealt with a few shops that ripped me off before I found them. And if you're in the service they'll usually give a discount also.
