another 4x4 problem

i posted a while ago thinking about buy a 93 bronco, ended up getting it (if anyone remembers mine was the one that was shaking). now that iv got it im trying to figure out how to get the 4x4 working. i get no reaction or clicking when i hit the buttons, they never light up (except maybe two or three times when i remote started it i got in and the 4x4 light and the orange lights on the buttons were flashing with the rest of the dash lights). iv read a lot of the topics on the subject on here, but i havent seen another one where the buttons dont light up at all.

Mine did the same thing,and I feel for you.I finally got tired of messn with it and installed a manual engage.....been happy ever since.Good Luck

i was considering that, but i think its out of my price range....how much did it end up costing you?

also any ideas to get it working would be awesome, im ok with the mechanical stuff, but eletrical and i dont get along too well

When my shift motor froze it wouldnt come out of 4x4 reguardless of me screaming and pushing the buttons to death
