SO I have been having some issues with the bronco while running but otherwise she runs like a top other than a sporatic check engine light flashing for a minute (reason for testing) no check engine light stored just random flashing

I recently put in a new tps, cleaned the throttle body and egr ports plus new cap and rotor and oil (still need to do plugs and wires)plugged vacume leak at rotted out coffee can under the washer fluid and coolant resevoir

ISSUES I have encountered are (severe battery drain when running heat, headlights(dimming at idle),radio all at once) - and during the rpm range of driving if I don't put the pedal in a certain spot at various speeds she clunks as if stuck between a gear or lock or unlock converter(new converter and pump last year) I dont know if the problems are tied together or what but i checked the codes and came up with

these...

31 EVP signal is/was out of range. 31-15-38-53-66-32- all key off engine running- (92 ford bronco e40d tranny 5.0l

15 KAM (pin 1) was interrupted (was battery disconnected ?)yes last week

38 Idle Tracking Switch signal was intermittent.

53 Throttle Position sensor too high.

66 Transmission Oil Temperature (TOT) signal low (possibly grounded).

Vane Air Flow (VAF) or Mass Air Flow (MAF) signal low.

32 (KOEO, KOER, MEM)

EVR,EVP signal is/was low

(KOER, MEM)

PFE shows low pressure, EGR not seating or memory, not seating intermittently.

IM gonna change the tranny fluid and filter soon: do to the metallic tone it is becoming

I could really use some guidance here to help me nip this in the bud

THANKS FOR YOUR TIME

DTC 31 or 32 Both KOEO & KOER EVP sensor out of range EGR is sticking or EVP is bad Source: by miesk5 at Ford Bronco Zone Forums

Testing; "...Using the Haynes manual's procedures, you should be able to back-probe the EVP line and ascertain whether the EVP voltage is correct. It should be below 0.67V @ zero vacuum on the EGR, slowly increasing with applied vacuum from a hand pump. DO NOT apply more than 10 in-Hg to the valve..."

32 EGR sticking open, bad EVP/PFE sensor, clogged exhaust or convertor

DTC 32 or 326; "...DTC 32/326 typically means that the EGR valve is not fully seated. This can be due to a bad EGR valve, vacuum trapped in the EGR hose, a clogged EVR filter, or a bad EVR solenoid. It is also important to note that if you have an exhaust ventilation system hooked up, that this can also cause an inaccurate reading. Try disconnecting the system and retesting..." For all Emission (EVP, EGR, etc DTCs, go to my site and under Emissions, go to Exhaust Gas Re-circulation (EGR) System for more Testing / Troublsshooting LINKS
