Hi everyone,

I have a 1994 full size Bronco and the airbag light flashes 5 times then 1 time. This means code 51, right? I actually took it to the dealer and they couldn't find any kind of short, but I wanted to run it by everyone on the forum to see if anyone has any new ideas on what the problem could be. Thanks

yo BRAD,

WARNING: THE ELECTRICAL CIRCUIT NECESSARY FOR SYSTEM DEPLOYMENT IS POWERED DIRECTLY FROM THE BATTERY AND BACKUP POWER SUPPLY. TO AVOID ACCIDENTAL DEPLOYMENT AND POSSIBLE PERSONAL INJURY, THE POSITIVE BATTERY CABLE MUST BE DISCONNECTED FOR ONE MINUTE PRIOR TO SERVICING OR REPLACING ANY SYSTEM COMPONENTS.

I wait longer while looking for any rechargeable battery 12 v + accessories that someone has hacked onto the battery terminals, power point or cig lighter such as an underhood light ot horn, etc.

Hey, thanks for all the info. I took the airbag circuit box out, went to the junk yard and for 11 dollars got another one. So far it works perfect. Put about 60 miles on it and still no blinking airbag light.

Thanks again for the help!

Brad
