I have had this beeping noise coming from a green and black box under the dash, it was only occasional doing this, and the light would flash occasionaly. Anyway I opened the box yesterday and its completly burned and black (mini-fire) the only working part was buzzer.

I disconnected the two clips (gray & black) and the truck seems to run fine without it. Of course the light stays on fulltime. Do I need to replace the box or can I just leave it out?

(I have little kids and I would just as soon leave the airbag off anyway).

The only airbag in the truck is in the steering wheel, so if you don't want it to work, leave the ADM out. Kids shouldn't be near it anyway, so that has nothing to do with it, other than maybe keeping you alive to look after them.
If you want a replacement, I have a few, but you'll need to check all your wiring or you could burn up any module you put back in.
Ok, I was thinking their might be one on the passenger side too. The other wiring looks good....what would make the module burn up? This thing was really fried, the only working part on it was the buzzer.
