I put a 85 EFI engine in my 69 bronco, i keep getting air in my fuel lines and it starts lean popping. i checked all my fuel hoses , no leaks that i can see. Do i need to convert my tank pick ups. because i just have whatevr pick up thats stock in a 69 tank.

Also my idle is wierd. it idles fine but when the car is warm and im slowing down to stop and i take it out of gear, the idle wont go down fast like it should. it will go down to 1200rpms hold there for a little, then it will go down to its idle at 800rpms or so. It also doed this when i rev the engine.

You may have a crack down line from the fuel pump, or a crack in the pick-up itself.

A crack before the pump won't show up as a leak in most cases. Try a piece of temporary fuel line to the pump from the pick up and see if the problem goes away.
