I have a 1995 Bronco with 4 wheel ABS. I decided to change my rotors, pads, bearings, and all of that fun stuff, but this is the first time I have dealt with ABS. I just wanted to see what other people have done to get that ABS ring off, so the rotor can be replaced.

Thanks

I have never actually done one on a Bronco but on the ones I have done they just press into place, pry gently with even pressure and should come off no problem, careful the do break as they are hardened steel

or take it to shop to be pressed out, but when I did that once in JAn with a snow stormand 20 deg outside, the shop dude just hammered it out, which I could have done, but didn't to ensure the ring was not damaged

Thanks for the link. I had heard that some people had just kept pounding on the studs to get the ring off, but I was a little weary about that since I really don't want to break off any of the splines. But I will give it a whirl and let you guys know how it works out.

Thanks.

Well it popped off, amazingly easy, kind of suprised me. Just two wacks on each stud in a star pattern, and next thing I knew I had a separate ABS ring.

Thanks for everyone's help.
