I am buying a 1996 Bronco. Does this have the old R-12 or did they switch to R-134a in 96?? Thanks.

R-134a, I think since the late 80's everything went top r-134a. But a 96 for sure has 134.

well, i know my 93 mustang and my friends 94 blazer use the old stuff. so, i was just wanting to be sure. thanks.

ford started using R12 for SOME of their vehicles in 1993, but starting in 1996 all production vehicles started using R-134a
