A 96 Bronco has a 3G alternator, so doesn't need any extra wires to a a regulator.  The regulator is attached to the back of the alternator.  Check your wire from the alternator to battery (+) and the battery ground (-) to frame and engine block.  Remove and clean all contact points and check the condition of the point where the lugs attach to the cable.  If there is any corrosion, replace the cable.  If not charging then, change the regulator on the back of the alternator.  Attached is a 3G diagram.

Yo,

Welcome!

96 Bronco-F-Series Workshop Manual (PARTIAL) by FORD via http://www.diesel-dave.com/vehic/manual/stj/stjleft.htm

Alternator wiring diagram at http://www.diesel-dave.com/vehic/manual/stj/stje0003.htm

Does not show any of above colored wires.

We can work on those wires later and use this for the no changing issue...

Section 14-00: Battery and Charging System, Service

DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING

Symptom Chart

NOTE: Use Rotunda 73 Digital Multimeter 105-R0051 or equivalent to perform electrical pinpoint tests.

BATTERY AND CHARGING SYSTEM

Condition Possible Source Action

System Does Not Charge

Loose or worn drive belt.

Open/voltage drop in Circuit 38 (BK/O).

Open/voltage drop in Circuit 36 (Y/W).

Open/high resistance in Circuit 904 (LG/R).

Damaged regulator.

Damaged generator battery.

GO to Pinpoint Test A.

Battery Does Not Hold a Charge

Battery drain.

Open or high resistance in wiring.

Damaged regulator.

Generator.

GO to Pinpoint Test L.

...

None of the wires appear in or out of power distribution box, but am guessing the tan/orange could be from pcm to data link connector under dash. See diagram...

But that location is most likely Not the same as in your pic.

Same for yellow/red to blower motor resistor pack, see diagram...

I checked many wiring diagrams with no trustworthy results at http://www.revbase.com/BBBMotor/Wd

My tablet needs a charge.

Any components not working aside from alternator?

Yo,

I am looking for the crankshaft position sensor wiring diagram.

Found it under misfire sensor however the two wires are black/yellow and dark green/light green.

Also, the light green/red wire has to go to a keyed 12V source in order for the alternator to work.

Yo,

I checked other components such as SPOUT, DAYTIME HEADLIGHTS, Turn Signal/Hazard Flasher Lamps, Turn Signal and Marker Lamps, Engine Compartment Lamp, Courtesy Lamps, ignition module and circuit.

LOOK FOR THE CONNECTORS IN the general area of your pics to help identify components that I can inspect appropriate wiring diagrams.
