hey I'm looking for the hardwear for a 95 hard top. I put a soft top on last summer, I live at the beach and the girls go nuts over it!!! But my brother who has a 69 Mach 1 throw my bolts (including the metal clips or spacers?)out because he thought he didnt need them anymore. anyways I can't find the hardwear anywere and it seems like every junk yard I go to someone has already beaten me to it. I would really appercate any help anyone can give me as to where I can find them. Thanks a lot.

I also have some kind of air leak in my brakes, well it sounds like air is coming out went I step on the brake, and it is really hard to push down a friend of mine said it could be the "brake booster" I don't even know what a booster is and I was wondering if he was just messen with me or if that could really be the problem any help would be great!!! thanks

yo,

Top hardware;

Top Removal w/Tool List by Froggmann (Ken P) at froggmann.com http://www.froggmann.com/Bronco/Tech/Topremoval.htm

to avoid buying the tamper proof hardware use what F suggests:

5 8x70mm 1.5 Pitch Metric Bolts

12 8x45mm 1.5 Pitch Metric Bolts

On our 96, the bolt that is to the rear of the dome light, in the middle of the roof is very long and caused a horrible screech because it is close to the metal roof edge. We left it out. Shown in Randy's pic:http://www.supermotors.org/clubs/superford/vehicles/registry/showmedia.php?id=198455

Top Trim Bracket & U Nut pics on an 86 by justshootme84 shows these:

http://www.supermotors.org/clubs/superford....php?id=198456; we pulled the brackets & uses ind. strength Velcro to re-attach the plastic trim pieces.

could be booster; here is a sys diagram:

http://www1.autozone.com/servlet/UiBroker?...23d800aa057.jsp

your power brake booster prob has a leak in the diaphragm; esp. if engine loses power or sputters when applying the brakes

use a short length of garden hose, vacuum cleaner flex tubing or even gift wrap tube and listen in that area while someone applies brakes to track the sound.

some use carb leaner and spray around; if engine speeds up when sptraying, then there is the vac leak area, but mose ase mechanics I know here use a smoke machine to help find the leak safely.
