95 driveshafts

I have a 95 Bronco that I am removing the rust on and and also painting with POR 15, after looking at the driveshafts and seeing that there is a little rust but they are in great condition. Is it ok to paint those also? A shop told me that it would mess up the balance on them and since its the only one for about 50 miles I figured I could get a secound opinion from anyone that has done the POR 15 from one of you guys.

Not sure exactly but if they are rusted wouldnt that throw it off the as much as as some paint.

well i dont know what por 15 is but i painted mine had some crome paint left over from the motor and painted both driveshafts havent had a problem with them yet.

por 15 is a rust preventative paint. I dont see how it would affect anything but I wont make an guarantees.

As long as the paint is not super uneven lol.

The mechanic who told u not to paint it with por15 is a idiot. Paint away have a blast you will be fine
