wanted to see if anyone else has had problems with turn signal flasher. mine stopped working a few days ago, i've tried 3 different flashers with no luck. but then i tried the hazard flasher and it works. its fine but is just too slow. just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if they found a solution.

Hey bruuser, welcome.

Flashers on these broncos work on resistance in the lights.  Not enough resistance and the flasher won't work.

First check that every lamp that should be flashing is actually working.

If they are,  then it could be that the hazard flasher is the proper rating and the wrong rated flasher was put in for the turn signals.

I also found that some cheep flashers are just poorly made and have had to got to another store or buy the more expensive flasher.

You may have to double check the rating for the proper flasher.

Sorry, Don't have that info with me right now or I would provide it.

Good Luck

yo bruuser9,

Welcome!

Hazard Flasher Switch

The turn indicator/hazard flasher switch is located in the upper steering column hub. The turn signal is operated by the multi-function switch (13K359) on the left side of the hub. Two flashers are used, one for the turn signal in front part of fuse panel & hazard flasher is on the back of the fuse panel, Hazard flasher is shown, but not identified in view A at bottom left. You have to reach panel around to feel it and remove.
