'93 Eddie Bauer w/emission exemption sticker

New to the forum. I just purchased a 1993 Eddie Bauer for parts, my son wrecked his 1996 Eddie Bauer and we needed the fron sheet metal, hood, fender, drivers door, etc. On the '93 when I opened the hood, there is a sticker saying that this is an emission exempt vehicle, but the sticker on the hood says it is a catalyst equipped vehicle and the catalytic converters are on the truck. The exemption date is 9/1992. Can any one tell me what this sticker means.

well i am in the army and the only place i have seen those is on a military vehicle was the vehicle used by the government ???????

Not really sure if it was. If so, it might have been undercover. It is painted with the standard Eddie Bauer paint scheme and has Eddie Bauer marked seats and fender emblems. It has silver trim on the dash and door panels and I am used to the fake wood grain trim on my 96 Eddie Bauer. There is no overhead console, again I don't if this was an option or special order on this truck. It has the 5.8 (351) engine, cats, rear tire carrier, power windows, locks. Only has one vanity mirror on the passenger side, not lit. It is a cloth interior. Don't know what I've got, but was just wondering if anyone might have an idea.
