i've got a 90 bronco with a 351W. its equipped with the speed density instead of MAF. I was planning to make some modifications and was wondering if this would work with the speed density. the mods planned are cold air intake, pulleys, larger throttle body, and conversion to true duel exhaust with headers and no cats.

Will I experience any problems or will I be able to make these changes and experience no problems.

any info will be appreciated

As long as you dont change the timing events such as cam , ratio rockers youll be fine , The speed density system is programmed for that motor , The volume of air it takes in and the ammount of gas that it needs to support 14.7 to 1 ratio of fuel and air or as close to it as it can get . I have true duals on mine with headers on a 351 and I have no problems with the check engine light . The only time it pops on is if im messing around and hit the gas hard then let off sometimes it throws the light but I have removed the entire emissions control system from mine so I the oxygen sensor is causing that by seeing the mix go rich when I let off it quick because the smog pump isnt pumping the extra air into the cylinders but not too sure and at this point its not a big deal it goes out on its own most all of the time . So I think the mods you have listed will be fine . :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

when i put in my cam i didn't remove the air pump or the cats so maybe thats y i'm not getting a check eng. light.... but some times when i am coming off the gas from full throttle it bucks or stops firing for a quick second. i think it is the TPS but i'm not sure :glare:
