9" Crush Sleeve

How much torque does it take to compress a 9" crush sleeve? I've used 175ft/lbs and still have play between my pinion bearings. I need to know how much play i need if any.

I think you can add a thin shim behind the pinion race so its held out further. I took mine into Randy's Ring and Pinion and thats all they had to do to mine.

I'd give them a call to be sure though. Its all in the shims!
