89 full size no power when I turn key

I have a 89 manual that I recently bought I have inside lights and out side lights but when I turn key I have no gauges or radio it won't do anything but it will turn over just not crank when I touch the cyliniod I replaced the ignation switch and relays but still nothing the rod dies move up and down please help

The rod moves and the ignation switch clicks to on and start potion but I just don't have any power to anything when I turn the key

The fact that the cylinder goes into the various positions doesn't mean the actual switch is in the right position.  That is accomplished be the adjustment procedure. You could have a bad switch or the switch is out of adjustment.  That is not the cylinder you put the key in, the actual switch is on top of the steering column under the dash.  It is operated by a push rod that is moved by the key. The adjustment is a real simple process and i would do it just to make sure it is right.  If the adjustment is correct, the switch may be bad.

Actuator Rod & Switch Operation Overvew; "...The actuator rod on tilt columns is a culprit. The key turns a rod via a rack. The rod goes over the pin sticking out of the rod pictured above. That part wraps up over the column where yet another rod goes into it that travels down the top of the column to a remote mounted switch block. This block actually makes contact. The Aluminum piece above breaks and you no longer can push that rod. The longer straight section going to the top right of that picture is there only for the ignition lock (that little lever under the column you need to use to get your key back)... read more
