88 full size bronco not starting after driving awhile. Replace heads, timming chang, new starter, new battery cables. Iam thinking that the crank is walking?

Check the starter solenoid, too. If it's warm/hot to the touch when you have this problem, replace it.

did you put headers on it? some times they will over heat the starter and basicly bake it to death.
