Hi, guys!

I have this 86 Ford Bronco that I cannot make the fuel pressure go up. Replaced the in tank pump, replace two in line filters, clean the line, did not replace the in frame high pressure pump, just blow air into it to dislodge the old fuel. Replaced the fuel pressure regulator with a used one. Pressure at engine on is only 15psi, when engine runs, it goes only to 20psi. The result, engine hesitates, chokes and no power! Any help and ideas/tips is greatly appreciated. I am losing my hair on this. Did the tune up, too!

I know you're not going to like this, but... if the fuel pressure is not constant, it is the fuel pressure regulator. I know they're expensive...but go to Jegs.com and buy a cheaper one. You don't need that billet alluminum adjustable crap. Just go with Motorcraft or something comparable.

Your truck has two fuel pumps. A low pressure pump in the tank, and a high pressure pump mounted on the frame rail just about under the driver seat. More than likely the high pressure pump is bad.

Good luck,

P.S. Welcome to the Zone. Post some pictures when you get a chance and add your truck vitals to your signature. In my answer above, I assumed that you have a 302 EFI engine.
