I want to know how high and how wide of a tire to use with bushwacker fenders and a 4 inch lift on a 1986 Bronco

If you do not cut out any part of the fender openings, i thinka 33x12.50 tire is the buggest I would put on a 4" suspension lift kit. The more you trim the fenders, you can run up to a 36" tall tire. I have 35's with a 6" kit, and have some light fender contact at times (stock fenders). Even with a wheel having minimum backspacing of 3.5", the 12.50-wide tires will rub the stock radius arms at full turn of the steering wheel. The extended arms are slightly bent inwards to reduce the tire rub, but I still get some rub on those, too. A 14.50-wide tire will rub even more, reducing your turning radius. This os using a 15x9" or 15x10" rim.
