First of all Welcome to the B Zone!
First thing you need to check is do you have spark coming from the coil AT the coil. Just because it's new doesn't mean anything, it could be bad or there might be a broken wire going to it.
IF you do NOT have spark here look for any broken, corroded or burnt / melted wires. If you find a burnt / melted wire start looking for the "Dead Short", an area of the wire that has worn through to the metal. If you find this you should replace this wire and re route it so it doesn't happen again.
If you have spark at the coil then check the coil wire going to the distributor to see if you have spark going to the distributor. If not then your coil wire is bad.
If you have spark to this point then you need to check / replace your cap and rotor. Look for burns around the contact points inside.
Again if you have spark here then check the plug wires for spark.
(I know by your post you don't, you may need to replace the wires.)
If you have spark at the plugs, pull the plugs to see if they are wet.
If they are dry then you have a fuel issue...
Check to make sure you have fuel going to the engine.
If you do NOT have fuel to the engine then you have one of two problems...
First check / replace the fuel filter.
If that doesn't fix it then you may have a bad fuel pump.
Do you hear the pump running when you turn the key on?
If not check the fuse.
If the fuse is good then replace the fuel pump.
