i have a 95 bronco xlt fullsize and i was looking at lifts i am most likely going to get the procomp 6 inch kit but then i saw the skyjacker 8 inch kit and so i was wondering what modifications i will have to do for an 8 inbch kit . because i herd u need to lengthin axles n all these other things and that u have many problems if u go over 6 inches of lift, is this true? if not what do i need to do?

8 inches is where you start getting into the driveline viberations. You will need driveshaft work for sure and the normal extended brakelines. High angle driveline builds some kickass driveshafts, they are expensive but are the best.

Unless you're going to be doing some serious rock-crawling or competition, I'd stay well below the 6" lift. Lifts can require all kinds of upgrades. I assume you are doing a suspension lift, or a combination suspension/body lift. A lift is not a one day deal, and requires lots of different modifications. This can include many things such as brake hoses, front coils/rear leaf springs, sway bars, extended radius arm, pitman arm, steering kit, driveshaft, shocks, etc. etc. It is not an inexpensive or easy undertaking to add a bunch of lift...especially not to do it correctly. Good luck!

I personally installed a 6in rough country suspension lift on my 94 f150. Its not incredibly easy but it is able to be done on your own with the assistance of a pair of extra hands. As stated above if you go over 6in you will need drive shaft adjustments, extended brake hose ect,,, Its a much more complex project if you go over 6in. What size tires were you wanting to run?
