My new 74 has the vented aux tank but the rear doesn't have any connections for small airlines. Could be that the aux tank is a 74 and the rear is from an older Bronco before the vent lines. The 4 lines are still in place under the body and come up into the driverside rear fenderwell. All are capped off instead of going into a expansion tank and off to a charcol canister in the engine bay.

Has anyone had luck by capping off these air lines and using vented gas caps instead?

My 68 has never had a problem with vapor lock or any other issues not having vents lines. Should I go to a junk yard and get a newer style expansion tank and charcol canister to help this problem or is it not needed? I will not be connecting the charcol canister to the air filter either so it seems worthless.

What are all you doing with the lines? I fugure to seal them off at the tank or bring up some airlines up high to vent but in a roll over I'd spill gas everywhere.

Hay, none of this.....NO "rolling over"...! :)) :))

My '66 filler neck has the vent tube attached...with the hose paralleling the "fill hose", right back to the tank.

This should work for you.....& I agree, I see no need for all that other "gobbley-****"

Of the newer EB's I've had..... none had any of the vapor lines hooked up.
