Ok this is probaly gonna be wierd, but here it is. I found a 94 F250 with a 7.3L powerstroke, 4x4 automatic tranny. The truck was a rollover wreck, and the guy is only asking 2,000 for it. I am a diesel guy by heart, and im in need of some help. I will be transfering everything from the F250 to my bronco. I realize that all tranny, transfercase, axles, and fuel delivery systems need to be transfered over. If anybody can tell me of somewhere to look that can be of help or if you know of somebody that can help, or a website please let me know. thanx

Hey Seabronc hows it going ? I have not done this swap but I would in a heartbeat . You really dont need any help with this swap you have the perfect manual sitting right there in your yard if thats where the truck is . First thing I would do is strip your bronco take the dash out motor, tranny, all electrical, Get it down to just a shell . Now remove the motor and tranny from the deisel truck . Mark all the wires very carefully and DO NOT CUT ANY FOR ANY REASON , Now depending on how bad the cab is on the truck if you cant get inside break out the sawzall and cut the window pillars to get the roof off then take the doors off but if there power keep the harnesses out of them . Now just carefully remove all the dash and electrical and install them in your bronco just the way they came out of the truck . Unless your bronco is 92 or newer you need every harness out of the truck or youll be chasing wires for days the connectors and color codes just dont match . Being a 94 everything will fit in your bronco even if its an 80 the cab design never changed and F150/250/350/and bronco all share the same cab design they just changed the dash design still bolts in the same places . So just be careful mark everything and tranfer it all carefully and the motor wont even know its not in the truck . If yours is an older bronco then you will have to get one of theose transfer case speed sensor adapters because 92 and up dont have a speedometer cable there electric so you would have to do something there but if yours is 92 or newer your all set . Oh yeah and if you decide you dont want to do the swap Id be very interested in that truck . Hope that helps . :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Thanx for the advice Blade. I just got tired of messing with the old gas engine. My bronco is a 93. I won't be able to start the project for another year or so because the truck is back home in Wyoming. When i get out of the marines it is the first thing that i am doing. Cali kind of frowns on changing out engines. They just don't understand why you would do it. LOL.
