Duffs & all the other E. B. suppliers have them JBG, etc. All floor mounts need to have the trans. **** cut out. (carefully)

The new shifter brackettry mount on the transfer case.... "The shifting rods" (2) are set-up for a V/8, & run to the transmission shift selectors. For the 6 cyl., the rods are too long....they have to be cut & overlapped (approx. 1/2 ") & welded back together. There is a floorboard stiffener channel under there that the rods may rub or bind on. In some cases, this has to be cut or ground away for clearance.

The directions will cover this. It's prob. a 2 banana job & takes 3-5 hrs., going slow & following directions. They shift nice & well worth the trouble.
