You might check out ******'s thread on his Rough Country lift kit. I think he found a good vendor and great price after searching several different ones. The RC kits are decent, and there is little difference in price from a 4" to 6" kit. Usually $20-50 more for the same 6" kit as the 4". While $550 is a decent price for a 6" kit, the $82 shipping is something I would look to not have to pay by finding a vendor with free shipping.

You do not need to extend the driveshafts on your Bronco with either a 4" or 6" kit. And while I don't have personal experience with Topgunzcustoms, I believe they are a reputable vendor and others have bought kits from them without problems.

Rough Country is a very good kit. You can't go wrong with them. The prices that justshootme qouted are a bit different than anything I found however. Everywhere I have looked into for a kit there is a huge difference in price from 4 to 6 inches, but very small from 6 to 8 inches.

deffinitly not going with the 8"....that just seems a tad excessive for me. and i dont think i am going to be doing anything that will require that.

so basically, what you are telling me is, go for it?

and what is this about NOT having to extend the drive shafts?

My advice always is to shop around. If this is the only price you've found, look some more. And you do not need to extend the driveshafts with the 6" lift, use you stock-length ones. Something I highly suggest with a 6" kit is to upgrade to the extended radius arms. While this will cost $350-$400 more, it will make frontend alignment much, much easier to obtain. You also have more front wheel travel over the stock radius arms. You can add this upgrade later, if you're not comfortable with the cost, but it's well worth it, IMO. And as far as cost diffference, I've seen this RC 4"kit list for $450, and the same 6" for $480. JSM84

word, where did you see the 6" for $480?

i talked to an offroad shop in the area and they quoted me 1500, but i dont know is that has the radius arms or not. top gun customz has the 6" with the radius arms for $1000.

here is one, should i get the sway bar extensions or not? i know that without it there will be a lot of body roll (esp. at highway speeds). but i dont really drive that fast anyway.

Turf the sway bar. Every 6 inch kit I have found is between 1000 and 1600. I wish I had justshootme's connections.

I agree with Yard, leave the sway bars off. They will limit your suspension travel, and it's hard to drop the rear one without extending the end links. Check 8-10 online vendors, then go to your local offroad shop, even 4WParts Wholesaler's for pricing. Ask the local shop to make you a deal on the kit you want. Again, I do think ****** found a good vendor for the Rough Country kits. I would search and post the thread, but I can only use the fast reply and am not able to post any links. Good luck, JSM84

Yes, Rocky Mountain is a vendor that I often deal with, as I've bought some poly bushings from them. They also have a good tech line and will answer questions on the phone.

Rough Country is a very good system.I have never had any problems with ones i have installed.Be carefull when buying any lift kit in that price range.Kits are often sold as ''complete'',but are just what you have to have.Often times missing vital parts such as radius arm drops, axle drop brackets and for 6"and up,drop pitman arms. Contact Chris Dicus @ Bigfoot Offroad and Performance (573)436-2622.He has competative prices and will hook you up with every thing you need and nothing you dont.

One more thing to add about this kit, You may want to consider getting the shackle flip kit from sky manufacturing. This is far more safe than lifting the rear with those blocks.
