5.0 EFI Injector Harness Issue

All,

Could really use some expertise in injector wiring for my 302 EFI on my 87 full size Bronco.

A few months ago, rats chewed wires up on drivers side. The two injectors closest to the front of the Bronco were affected. As the wires were so far gone I couldn't tell which wires paired up...nor could I tell which wires went to which injector. I took a guess. How can I check the wires to see which pair goes to each injector? As I'm sure the injectors fire in an order (I assume the same order as the cylinders), I would bet it makes a difference which wires go where.

If nobody has an idea, I suppose my alternative is to strip the wrapping off the wire bundle all the way back. Any ideas appreciated. Thanks.

I suppose you could connect a 12 volt test light to your injector wires one at a time,and have someone bump the ignition(with the coil wire off),untill it lights up.Then pull your distributer cap to see which number your firing on.thats where I would start.

Cant you save a whole lot of headaches and get another harness from the auto wreckers? Just the injector harness shouldn't be more than $50.00, save the rest of your time for killing them damn rats.
