Well first off i have a 1989 bronco, full size. Im having a problem with the "little black box" thats under the dashboard on the passanger side. Its the one with a little white button, and when you push it a little red light comes on. Well whenever i hit my 4x4 button on the dash the box clicks but nothing else happens. I replaced my transfer case motor already so thats not the problem. Im thinking its the whole "black box" together because its getting power, but i dont think its sending a signal to the transfer case motor so it can ingage the 4x4. It may be shorted out, but im stumped, and I have no idea what the box is called. Can anyone help me?

There is a relay for the shift motor. You can troubleshoot the whole system by clicking on the link I have in the Tech Articles forum for MSU on the Ford Explorer, or the link to MiesK5 HomePage. Welcome to Bronco Zone, JSM84

That's not the same link I have for MSU, but it's super!!! Might want to put it in the tech articles forum, and I'll pin it, JSM84
