I was wondering if some 33 BFG's will fit my stock 93 Bronco? I am pretty sure they will, but I am aware that some modification of the air deflector under the bumber might be required. Anyone have any input?

If you mount them to the factory rims, you may have a problem contacting the fender wells or front bumper/ rock guard. You may have better luck with 15x10 rims with a 3.5"-4" backspacing. You might have to use a 1/2"-3/4" spacer on your front bumper mounts to move it forward.

With all of this said, yes, you can possibly fit 33's on a stock 92-96 Bronco. BUT, if you do any serious offroading where the suspensions flexxes to it's limit, you can expect fender contact either in the front or more likely at the rear fender openings.

THe maiximum "safe" tire size is a 31x10.50R15.

[-X I'm not sure why I feel the need to make this comment, but I seem to everytime the subject comes up. If those are 12.5's you are talking about. Factory warranty of all manufacturers requires them to be mounted on a minimum of 8.5 " wide wheel rims. People have put them on narrower wheels, but your legal protection is void. So if you pop a bead and have a serious accident resulting in injury or death, you are on your own. [-X

That being said, they look cool and I have a set for my truck, but they are mounted on the proper size wheels. :D/

Good luck,

I just put 33/14.00x15 boggers on my 1980 and they were tucking so i put a 3in body lift on it and it solved that problem.

They should fit but you might want to get a little body lift.

I am pretty sure the rims I have are not factory originals, and I am pretty sure they are wider than the original tire... I guess that being an 8 or 8and 1/2. Is there anyway I can confirm this, the tire on there now is a P268/75R15 which I think converts to like a 30.5 inch or 31.... not exactly sure where to find the wheel width though........ they look extra **** does that count?

That doesn't help because the tire could be on any wheel. I only found 265 75 R15's and they fit a 7 - 9 inch wheel rim. If you know the wheel manufacturer and modle Number then it is may be possible to find out the width. Stock wheels will take 10.5 tires as the rim width for 10.5s is 7 - 9 inches. The only way you can tell for sure without knowing the make and modle of your wheels, that I know of, is to measure them, without a tire mounted. Like I said 8.5 is the minimum with a range of 8.5 - 11.0 inches.

If you have a picture of the wheel post it, perhaps it can de ID'd by someone.

Good luck,

:)>-
