302 out of a 86 in with 351 from 89

The 86 has a fuel inj. 302 and the 89 has a fuelinj. 351. I need to put the 351w into the 86. What needs to change. Like trans. they are both autos.

You shouldnt have to change anything just keep the flexplate ( flywheel ) thats on the 351 with the 351 there weighted different than the 302 . Other than that youll be fine as far as a physical motor swap now if the 86 is EFI then you will have to have the EEC for a 351 or it will run lean . :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Yes...MAKE SUUUUURE you keep the correct flywheel, i swapped my 302 out for a 351 before and didnt and i had a horrible vibration, its def something you dont want to deal with at all
