I can get a 302 block out of a 68 mustang for free. I was wondering if it will bolt up to the bell housing. I have a 90 with the AOD transmission. Just wanted to know before I go and pick it up. Thanks for the help.

Yes it will bolt to your tranny but you will have to change the flexplate . Even though there both 302,s the early one will have a very heavy crank in it and your newer one has the light crank which requires a 50 oz weight on the flexplate . If your thinking od using your newer crank in that old block thats not goona happen they also changed the rear main seal design so you cant use the older 2 peice crank seal crank in a one peice crank seal block .
