Doe anyone have reference or a link to any good instructions or videos about rebuilding a 3 speed column shifter. I got the new bushings and parts from Obsolete Ford parts in Nashville Ga but need some directions. Everyone says, "take your time, its not that hard" but to be honest I'm a bit intimidated by this project. No Youtube videos that I can find. Thanks for any advice. TW

Several of the EB parts catalogs have a "blow-up" pic of the column & all the parts in order.

While trying to move your steering wheel back-n-forth, up-n-down.., does it move, have play..?

If not, you only have to deal with the lower end of the column, under the hood.

However.., who knows what's going on down inside the main column tube.

The "rebuilt" ones aren't cheap but, probably worth it.

This is why I recommended installing the "floor-shifter".

Way better, well engineered & very dependable. Mine is prob. over 30 yrs. old & still works like new.
