I swapped my 170 for a 289 with a 2bl carb. I have been searching for a diagram to show where every thing hooks up on the carb. The model is from a 1966 mustang. It has an electric choke. I hope this is enough info to get started. If anyone has a diagram or picture with everything labeled that would be great or if you know a site to look for. Any help would be great.

Thanks,

How about a couple of pictures of the carb showing it from front and both sides.

Basically, if you are hooking something that requires main vacuum, it hooks below the carb or on a vacuum tree which is usually at the back of the intake manifold. Your vacuum advance for the distributor hooks on a small port near the top front of the carb, (ported vacuum). Your brake booster hooks to the large port (about 1/4 of an inch in size) usually on the top of the vacuum tree.

Good luck,

:)>-
