Hey Guys!

My name is shelby, i live in Vermont.. i drive a 1993 Full Size Ford Bronco. its got a 351 V8 in it.. and plenty of power!!

Its pretty clean, coming from new jersey and being garaged for the winters, so coming to vermont, its quickly going to be undercoated.. :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

.. and oh, the joys of owning an old truck...

i've already had to replace the rear axle shaft when the bearing shoved through it..

i need a new timing chain cover and gaskets because its leaking oil

just recently my temperature gauge has decided its life was over...

for some reason there are 2 bolts in my bumper gone... no clue where they went, but my bumper enjoys bouncing around.

my four wheel drive doesnt work.. and i live on a steep hil... so there have been a number of times i have parked it at the bottom because i couldnt make it up (the joys of vermont winters...) but we're pretty positive its not the transfer case.. maybe an actuator motor or just a faulty switch

and my back window sticks. we've greased it.. but it just likes sticking better.

But... I love her anyway. and i'm sure i've forgotten something..

well anyway! i think this is a pretty cool forum, and look forward to discussing bronco stuff with you guys! I'll put pictures up soon!

Thanks!

Yeah, its definetly fun. Its soon to have a thrush exhaust, and a 2.5" lift, and a new paint job come this summer.. so i'm pretty excited about that.

BB21, howdy & welcome to Bronco Zone!!! look for the link to "Miesk5's Homepage" in the How-To & TechArticles forum, and bookmark it. you'll find tons of info and links on fixin' your Bronco. Ther's also a good write-up link on troubleshooting the electric-shift 4WD, since they seem to give lots of problems. Have fun working on the Bronco, JSM84

WELCOME Boyce!

Post tech Qs in the 80-96 Ford Bronco Tech Support section for each problem.

Looks like all your probs are DIY fixes and some can be done for minimal $.

Be well!

Al
