1989 Bronco Steering Column Schematic

Removed half moon Ignition Rod Actator/Park Lock from column. Not enough room to slide the new one in, casting is in way. Can casting be removed, should I trim the new part, or does someone have a schematic of 1989 Bronco full size, automatic steering column?
