1980 FSB 351 gas smell

I have an 1980 351 Bronco. Don't drive it much but noticing a strong gas smell after driving and putting in garage. Coming from engine area. No gas is visibly leaking.

The metal currogated hose and several other hoses have long ago fallen off the air filter.

Could these missing hoses be my problem?

Check the fuel pump....& related hoses..!

Some fuel pumps "weap" to let you know the diaphram is bad.

Check for carb over flow...float or needle/seat may need attention.
