  1. I've pulled together the parts to replace the quad shocks with Monroe Gas-Magnums and the springs with Moog OEM, the existing parts look to be original. I'm working to paint the frame (remove rust w/wire wheels, treat w/ospho, brush on Rustoleum Rusty Metal Primer and Rustoleum flat black top coat). I would like to disassemble to where I can paint the frame components (i.e. the shock mounts, swing arms, etc) as the previous paint has all peeled and the frame is rusting. Are there diagrams and torque specs available? Related issue, when driving and coming to a stop I can feel a mild 'thud' in the left front as though something is sliding forward when coming to a stop, any likely suspects to look at while I break it down? Anything else to get at while I'm in there?. I do have new Moog ball joints to replace the existing, though not sure I want to take that on. Appreciate all help and advice.
  2. hey i have a 1990 ford bronco with a 351w. my motor was recently rebuilt and has a small oil leak from the bell housing. i am pulling the trans to check out the rear main seal this week. i wanted to put a small lift but i'm going to wait until money is more comfortable. so i was hoping to get some suggestions for what leveling kit and shocks to get. if any has a favorite brand. also will a front leveling kit affect my alignment, i just got it done. i am replacing my body mounts, they are the original and are about to fall off, so i was also wondering if adding bigger blocks are worth it and will it affect the truck negatively. i had front quad shocks,
  3. I have a 1993 ford bronco xlt with the standard shock set up...I want to know what work and parts would go into a quad shock conversion any help or knowledge will be appreciated on how to complete this.
  4. I have two 91 broncos , one w/dual shocks one w/ single. I would like to put on the dual setup. What is the best way to do this? Is it going to be worth the time and effort. Thanks for any help.
