  1. Hey guys! It has been a while since my last post and I am on a new project! So with that in mind, I want to add some rumble to my truck! Right now I am running a single exhaust with stock cada. with a stock headers and no muffler. I already bought some new long head headman headers that I have yet to replace the stock shorties with. I was curious as to what mufflers do. Obviously they can muffle the sound of a straight piped truck; however I have heard they also give some extra power and (on occasion) make the truck even louder. Is this true? If so, which headers do you suggest and why? Would it add a nice loud truck sound?- or quiet it down. I do no know much about this part so I was curious. The more information the better and please suggest!! THANKS! -I have heard of the companies Borla, Master Flow, and Cherry Bomb. (thoughts?) -Nick

    Thanks man, will it matter if the ratio is stock 3.55 in the front and back and I replace the rear axle with a 3.5? (Making a 3.5 in back and a 3.55 in front.)

    Hey guys, I bought a new axle (ford 9 Inch) for my ride; but I hit a dilemma. I need to make sure the gear ratios are the same, and I do not know how to do that. The Ford 9 inch is a 3:50 ratio off of a 82/83. I am trying to install it to my 92; can any body tell me how to count the gear ratio off of the third member of the axle that is already on my truck? Or if there is a stock ratio that comes with 92 bronco. Any help would be great! Thanks, Nick

So, miesk5 if i am reading that correctly http://www.performanceunlimited.com/projectmpg/aircleaner.html says that the K&N CAI air filter was the only thing replaced and it gave the best results? And you are saying that I should wrap my tubes in insulation; and sorry, I have to riddle your guys' brain, I don't know anyone personally who knows this much about broncos :P/>/> Also, doesn't an after market CAI "let the truck breath better" by opening up that tiny hole so the the air can get sucked in faster?

    Hey guys, this is my first time starting a topic, so here it goes. :blush:/> I was doing some research on CAI and wanted to get a K&N; but, they are extremely over priced for me. I was looking on Ebay the other day and found a CAI that I have never heard of before. The brand is Insys-USA. Does anybody know or have one of these puppies? How do they sound? Do they help with HP at all?
