I am thinking of putting on an poweraid throttle body spacer to my 87 5.0L. I currently have a K&N intake and hedman headers. I was curious if anybody knew if the spacers actually worked? Were there any noticable increases? I have heard rumors of it actually creating a negative effect. Is this true? Please let me know what you know.

I have one that I could sell you for $60, I even did some grinding work to give it some better high speed swirling because I think the helix ***** like the air raid wouldn't actually do much at high velocity.

I put a Jet Performance throttle body spacer on mine. I noticed a small improvement in MPG, but that was about it. In combo with my K&N FIPkit and Jet Performance module I think it was worth the extra money. With the improvement in MPG it will eventually pay for itself.
