Those tops are great, but don't get the velcro hold-downs, get the snaps. They don't look like they offer any real protection from break-ins though.

I have one and I love it. I ordered it in Tan to match the trim on my bronco which was out of stock at the time but they made it and I got it in about a week.

Goes on or off really fast, and when I have it down I fold it up and put it under the rear seat.

Only 2 downside to the top is despite the picture on the website of a guy sitting in the backseat fine, that is really not the case. In order to sit in the back with the top on you have to scrunch forward in order to fit.

Secondly you have to drill a ton of holes and ***** in a bunch of turnbuckles and snaps and so the hard top can't go back on unless you unscrew every one. I don't really mind though and I just leave the soft top on all summer untill it gets cold at which point i'll unscrew them then.

Overall I really like the top, and for the price it can't be beat

Classic Roadsters II, Centre, MN is about to start making a tonneau style and possibly a full size soft top for the Bronco. They have their own upholstery shop that has been in business for about 28 years and have produced soft tops for cars as well as full interiors so experience is top of the line.

They are in the build stage of the tops, so it should be soonbefore they are ready for sales.

They will be made of Haartz nylon material, a very high quality material used by some major auto manufacturers, and it would come with either a clear or tinted window. The top will mount using the existing hard top holes, so you will not have to drill any holes; the tailgate section will be secured with an industrial strength velcro, so no drilling will be necessary there either. The tonneau style top will cost $375.00, and the full soft top will be $500.00

Classic Roadsters II site is http://www.classicroadsters.com/

At present, there is currently no info on the Broncos there yet, but you can still take a look and see the work they have accomplished.

swat I like that alot. The only question i have about the soft tops is do they make the truck look bad when you take them off. I want one because when i'm at school and it starts to rain i'm out of luck. But with the soft top i can just put it on before i leave for school.

There is no trim when you take the top off. Bolt holes and ******** show. Looks good from outside, from the inside you see all.

i like the tonneu sstyle soft top and am thinkin about gettting one... anyone know about how long it takes to install? also, i have the spare tire inthe back.. with that be a problem with this top? i'm thinking i could just lay the spare down in the back instead of having it standing on the rack..

Lay the tire down and tie it into the seat mount. Get an 8"X1/2" eye bolt, cut a little out of the eye to make a "J"hook, hook that around the seat mount, run it up through a rim mounting hole, install the nut and tighten it down to the bed. An inexpensive way to secure the spare.

why would the spare tire mounted on the back get in the way?

have had my eye on that top for a while too and would like to know aprox. height from the seat top to the roof if any one knows (gotta fit the car seats) and the price is good IMO for the look compares to the ones that are like the hard top design only vinyl and you need to lay the spare down if you have an inside tire carrier instead of outside
