I am new to the "zone" and inexperienced in using "forums".  What are "warnings" about?......Is there a list of rules? (where)........If I post a topic on one forum can I post the same topic on another forum (hoping for more exposure)?.........Thanks

It is a problem area of the forum that we are working on.  Warnings are for the moderator to keep track of rules violations,  the rules were visible when you signed up for an account. We are working on updating them and making them more easily accessible.  We only allow posting of a problem in one forum, if we decide it is posted in an inappropriate forum, we will move it to a more appropriate location.

For the present, you will be notified if you have any what we consider forum bad behavior along with a warning point.  Basically, treat other forum members the way you would like to be treated.  No arguments, no badmouthing, no trolling, no ganging up on someone, etc. If you have something valid and constructive to add to someones forum question, you are welcome to add your 2 cents at any time.  I always look at it this way, "There is more than one way to skin a cat", I do something one way and you may do it another way, as long as in the end the cat is ****** they both accomplish the same thing.  Generally I don't insert my comments in another discussion unless I have something positive to add that may help.

Thanks for your question.

Hope that helps,

:)>-

BTW, I replied to your outside rear-view mirror question and saw that you have a 96 so, check with VIN at dealer or on-line @ Ford; for the Speed (aka Cruise) Control recall; this recall has a life of its own and still undergoing changes; deals w/speed control deactivtation switch mounted on master cylinder; fires have been reported. RECALL - MULTIPLE VEHICLE LINES - SPEED CONTROL SYSTEM MODIFICATION.
