My apologies first because i know this has been asked over and over on here:

BUT, i have a 1975 Bronco.  what size Tires and wheels can i fit underneath my bronco?  i currently am restoring her and have 15" wheels and 33 tires.  i want to go to a 35" tire or something i can put on a 20" rim.  i personally like the look of the bronco with the 20" rims on them with mudders.  i have a 2.5" lift with cut fenders front and back and just purchased a 2" body lift.

are there any mods required by adding a 2" body lift?

thanks!

Hi Khow.., welcome..!!

Rule of thumb.., for any "looks" preferences.., there are some sacrifices.

Suspension/body lifts do req. other mods.

Radiator and/or fan shroud relocation is one for body lifts.

Steering column alignment is another.., along with transf. trannie shifters in some cases.

Talk to your supplier.., there may be others.

Post some pics.., that helps.

What RU going to do with this rig..?  Those huge tires/wheels will req. differential gear changes.

And, possibly more suspension lift.

Roadability & mileage will be limited.  (as will the thickness of your wallet)     $-)       :((    >:D< <'>

thanks for the reply.  i already have the 2.5" lift so i will just be adding a 2" body lift.  i just wish i knew if a 2" is necessary.  maybe i could get away with only a 1".  i guess ill know more on that when it gets out of the paint shop and can start trying on new shoes!  it will be used to cruise around town and bring the kids to ball practice, etc.  No mudding....

2.5" lift is a basic lift. Not meant to clear much with big tires.

Larger tires/wheels can also rub the frame &/or  interfere with the steering in a tight turn.

Braking can be an issue as well. Takes an up to spec. brake system to stop safely.

Let us know how it goes.... :-B

BTW.., those "mudders"  make a growl/whrrrr sound ..... RU ready for that..?
