New to the bronco

Hey just looking for some advice I'm a mechanic for the living but new to fords. I just bought a 95 with a 351. But she had issues that need sorted out. First thing is when the truck gets warm I smell coolant the gauge never goes up and I have pressure in the hoses. Are these trucks known for bad heater core(leaking and getting gunked up) kinda looking for direction

Thank for the fast reply yea there's something definitely going on I'll probably end up putting in a new thermostat while i have to coolant drained. Not to mention the coolant look pretty cruddy.
