Hello everyone,

I just joined, and I am needing some help on my 1984 Bronco, with a 4.9L, C6 trans

I have a 1984 Bronco that I just bought. The bronco was parked in a airplane hanger for 12 years, and it has a 4.9L engine that is locked up.  I have another 4.9L to replace it with, but

I am having some problems with the electrical wiring harness under the hood.

I can't get power to the starter solenoid to engage the solenoid.  I am getting power through the neutral safety switch, but I didn't know if there was a connector somewhere on the frame before it goes to engine compartment.  Does anyone have a engine wiring diagram for my bronco. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That would really be helpful.

Thanks

Grayhair

Thanks Seabronc

The diagram looks like I could splice a wire (light blue / red wire) from the neutral safety switch to the starter solenoid instead of trying to find the broken wire in the wiring harness, that goes under the cab.

What do you think?

Thanks

You still need to have the start connection to the ignition module which is where the problem may exist at C121.

Here is a larger picture
