so I have a 1990 forrd bronco ll. Having problems shifting, and I have no clue what the problem is. I've been told I need a new transmission, but also that it could be a vacum leak, the trans filter, or even shift cylinoids. The shift indicator set up is PRN(D)D21 what kind of transmission is that?!?! I clicked on these links and cannot find it anywhere.

Yo Dobbs,

Welcome!

A4LD is Basically a C3 with OD. Electronically shifted. Strictly light duty ( I.e. A 4 Light Duty) Through 1994 used a combination of hydraulic and electronic shifting. 95 up - electronic shift. Uses vacuum modulator instead of TV linkage. Shift pattern = P-R-N-OD-D-2-1

I have no troubleshooting info on this.

Hopefully others will offer info.
