hey guys, so i am having my 351w completely rebuilt from the ground up. it's from my 90 bronco. it is efi and already has been .40 over. the man rebuilding is also porting my heads and putting a new spring kit in them too. he brought a engine kit to replace all gaskets and other parts. my question is what type of new intake should i use or should i keep my old one, there is nothing wrong with it but if there is a better one i would want the better one. also i need a new wiring harness, i don't want to buy a junkyard, have heard bad things about them. and anything else that you can think of that i will to replace while the motor is out. i have new exhaust headers already and he is keeping the smog junk off but i found out that i will need to tune my ecm to run without that. so really any good aftermarket parts that you can think of, i really need a giant kit to put on it.

I am sure you will get some opinions here, but you would be better served in getting a few rebuilding books, (available at a books store or library), and possibly joining an engine re-builder forum.  Also, if your mechanic does this for a living, may be you should get his opinion.

I removed all the smog from my 1990 and did not have to do any tunning. I also have a nearly complete 1990 Bronco with 351 and  auto trans available for parts.
