Ok I have already put this in my last post but since it is a different issue I thought I would start a new thread.

OK so after fixing the wiring issue and getting Ole Duty (my girls named her) up an running I seemed to have developed a squeal in the engine. I originally thought it might be a vacuum leak because I ended up replacing the tube on the egr valve that goes under the intake. All the vacuum lines came off the went back in place.

When the noise started I double and triple checked all the lines. The guys at work said that it could be the A/C compressor. I pulled the belt off started it up and still squeals. So the things I have found so far

Engine squeals after it warms up

If I push the gas pedal it goes away

If I put in cruise it goes away.

What else can I do to find this leak? Everything else seems to work fine just the annoying noise.

Use the old mechanic stethoscope method.  Get a short piece of hose, put one end of it to your ear and move the other end around to locate the squeak.  Watch out out for the fan blades.

Good luck,

:)>-
